Foundations for Learning is a small group of two nurseries – Early Years Nursery Academy in Plaistow E13 and The Hub Nursery in Star Lane E16.
Both our nurseries offer a warm, friendly and safe environment where our carers attend to your child’s whole development and learning experience – forming relationships and feeding their natural curiosity. We use singing to enhance language skills, healthy exercise and good nutrition to promote physical development, art and story times to develop literacy skills, and construction, messy play and outings to develop their understanding of the world while building the early foundations of numeracy.

Our fantastic teams look after 120 children over two nurseries, with some of the very best facilities of any nurseries in our area of East London. As the outdoor world is an essential ingredient to the emotional health of children and has been positively linked with the development of imagination, the sense of wonder, Independence and autonomy, at Foundations for Learning nurseries, we make full use of our idyllic surroundings and large outdoor play area with natural garden.
Our nurseries are open 52 weeks of the year for all children aged 0-5. Our opening hours are 8am to 6pm (with early and late pickup by arrangement.
